In my opinion about this topic is absolute ban on ragging is very good,because especially on behalf of girls due to the effect of ragging on them many of them were died.
so its very good decision of absolute ban on ragging.

in my point of view ragging is not must be banned bcz it is a some cases is good or bad but when the ragging in clg u also remove the hesitation with the seniors it's a part of student life and a lot of memories and interact the seniors or juniors in now a days no ragging so junior don't know what is the name of my seniors sir or mam .

Absolute ban on ragging is bad because juniors and seniors do not get interact with each other and don't get to know about their seniors. Years later when they need any kind of help they don't know where to go and ask ....Faculties and teachers always do not come to rescue even.So in order to have a good bonding a healthy ragging is must (more like of introduction)and to complete small tasks given so the juniors knows how to handle the boss's instructions.

I thing ragging collect the good memories in college life. The interaction of seniors and juniors increase. I think is necessary because by this we learn how to respect the seniors, bear the stress which will help in future when you join any company because in the company this is very useful to maintain a distance and respect to your seniors.

it is gud experience in clge life ...without that clge life will leads to boring...we can close with our seniors nd juniors with this raqging ...many of them are exceeding the limit ... it will hurt some persons and that person will do some unwanted things... but within limit it is a gud memories in clge life

I don't think it us bad if done within proper limits.....that means only kinda interaction....some acts for removing hesitation of the new freshers.....to make them feel different from schools......after some time ....people who have been ragged become more comfortable to their respective seniors as compared to anyone else.....

in my point of view ragging should not be banned because it will make u a man that can work in company. it will generate a confidence that is really helpful for your carrier .with the help of ragging u can interact to your senior .i think ragging should be in limit that a student take it a enjoy.

Hi friends,this is ritika......let us be practical every technology has its own pros and cons.The same way we can look towards smart phone. It has several advantages and disavantages. if we talk about the positive side,it is providing us with great knowledge and it is we who choose the way to use the smartphone .we can say that we are carrying a wireless computer with internet everywhere .computer is making job easier ,it is not making anyone Dumb.the same way smart phone is making us smarter not Dumb but again it depends on the user who is using it.It is never written on the box "How to use the smart phone ". It is we who decides it.

I think , ragging is partially good , which is taught us so many thing , respect , manner ,it is also medium of getting fast as well as bonding with senior is good , so that we can easily communicate and learn to our senior.But some perspective too much thing never be good ,it is also having so many demerits like people get frustrated and suicide etc

HI GUYS,, I think that absolute ban on ragging is not a good idea. if this happen then freshers may loose to learn how to face some difficult problems in new areas. if some healthy ragging is there then they may learn to respect the others. i think that freshers also want a healthy ragging bcz they too get some joy in that. and it may like a memory in their life.(healthy ragging only). without healthy ragging they too get bored.
seniors also have to do ragging in a healthy manner. it is like they are enjoying along with their juniors.

a cricket team won 3 matches more than they lost. if a win give 2 points and lose give -1 point how many matches will they have played if score is 23 how to solve this problem

As we can see that the endurance power of our youngsters are reducing day by day.They fail to take up a small risk or challenge.This will seriously affect them when they start working in an industry especially with any of the corporates. A healthy ragging by the seniors will help the juniors to overcome thier shyness and also can enhance self confidence,increase thier ability to face challenges,ability to face risks. So according to my view ragging must not be absolutely banned from any colleges as everyone know that in future it can act as a bridge between a junior and a senior. My point is that in a college there must be ragging which must be conducted in a controlled environment.I also hope that the seniors must not take the ragging as a area to show your revenge or hatred towards your juniors rather than helping to cope up with the difficulties.

Behind the façade of ‘welcoming’ new students to college, ragging, in actuality, is a notorious practice wherein the senior students get an excuse to harass their junior counterparts, and more often than not, make them easy targets

My warm wishes for all,
On this case I support absolute ban on ragging.Ragging should be treated as a big crime.Especially those happening at colleges.All types of students may not take ragging as a fun.Some may take it serious and may end up their life.College is a place where students life has to be started not to be ended. Counselling on the harmful effects of ragging has to be provided to the students at their first step to the college.students they themselves are the victims and causers of ragging and therefore they must be completely counselled on the same with the real examples that happened recently and they must be taught that it is not just a fun as shown in films and might even cost a life.

Yeah i agree with ban on ragging is good .Because it make a problem for some emotional people who have a lack of boldness. Some time few members can problem means he will attempt suicide. Student point of view its make a fun but very foolishness for their thoughts.

I would say an absolute ban on ragging is advisable becorse, in retrospect, back to 15 to 20years, ragging was just nothing but like showing the dutch courage of a senior over to a junior and it never goes beyond that leaving traces of very few exceptional cases. its also paved for a good rapport and relationship between the students in terms of academics as well as all oter things. but now.. at the present state, ragging has completele evolved as an activity of notoriety.. news of students being attacked, harassed have become so common....... and some even commit suicide succumbs to the extreme level of torture given by the rascals. and they are not afraid of committing murders too. so, its preferable to completely abolish ragging as many new modes to get acquainted have stormed the market, for example social networks like facebook and twitter... and its never gonna be a point of bother in future to think about the ban on ragging in the future..

It depends on how they are ragging
If the seniors are not slapping the juniors and instead making them to do things,educating in a different way, making everyone their friends,helping them when in need,asking questions even though those are stupid and thoughtless questions,educating how really this outside cruel world will be,making them to do works,writing notes,saying not to roam outside and study,inviting them in a room and chitchatting,making them do things differently,calling girls and making them to propose and controlling their first year so they wont think they are kings and misbehave with others.
This type of ragging even though it is difficult is the best and it is good (no hitting)

Night Curfews are Beneficial as it would avoid the crowd and therefore will be a best prevention method from not only covid but any contagious diseases and also, the traditional routine defines night for sleeping and not for any extra activities. So preferably night curfew's are advantageous

no I do not agree because even people spending more time on mobile for a daily life but, it has also so many advantages:
1. news source: smartphone connect people to the world what is happening in the world with less amount time.
2. learning source: today smartphone make easier to learn without physical going in physical class which is less expensive. In simple word online study through various sources of smartphone.
3. banking issues: now a days online payment is more easiest way to pay. and if u want to transfer money one account to another account u can simply transfer without going your bank.

No, i don't agree with this term.
Yah there is lots of time spending on our smartphone in daily life.
But there is many more advantages using smartphone rather than we called it's making us dumb.
For example,now a day's we are transferring money one place to another place in few seconds.
Online examination,form apply,all the things are just complete in a minute second.
So there is many advantages are also there . So I don't think so that smartphone making us dumb.

In my point of view, smartphones are making people dumb because as we see daily everyone start their day with phone and it became oxygen to everyone like no one can live without oxygen and no one can live without phone in their hands. Everyone addicted to the smartphones and some may use it in a good way and some may use it in a wrong way , as spending a lot of time with phone people became dumb such that they dont even know whats happening in their surroundings. And yeah smartphones are useful in gaining various knowledge, as coin has two sides using smartphones have two sides which are using it in a proper way and using it in a wrong way so it depends on individual how they use smartphone.

in my point of view it not so. It is in our hand how we utilize the source which is given to us. Scientific inventions are made to minimize our effort. It should not rule us. If we know the limitation of usage then it will not considered as the bane product. More over , other than disadvantages smart phone has more advantages.

I think smartphone has advantages more than disadvantages...it's only depend on people how they use it ....if they use smartphone in a positive way it will give many advantages to them like a person become digitalized and he become smarter than other becoz smartphone can make our work easier we can save a lot of time...by utilizing it properly...or...if we use it in negative way it has many disadvantages like by using it continuously a person get addicted to smartphone and by using social medias... playing games and etc.. entertaining apps continuosly they become addicted to this and it will create a curiosity in a person to use this apps daily so that they waste there lot of time instead of utilizing it .

As, smartphones itself suggests that a gadget or technology which assist or help our works.Smartphones saves our energy, helps to do work in an efficient manner.It saves a lot of time and keeps us updated with the things going around us and all over the world.At times we cannot think of our lives without smartphones it helps in keeping touch with others ,making call ,getting news and the information of things going all around the world.It is very obvious that smartphones are making our life easier.

Are smartphones really making people dumb? This is an important sentence. I think that every coin has two faces heads and tails, likewise smartphone also has this two faces. Talking about the positive side there are so many benefits of smartphone like calling, access to the internet , creating jobs in the industry (take Android, IOS as an example), texting messages(take example of whatsapp,hike messanger). Now when we come to the other side of the coin, we recently have some smartphone accident like overcharging any smartphone battery would be dangerous, so we need to handle it with proper care, also some bad people can hack your device and can collect sensitive data (only if u have stored in it). Some smartphone can emit high radiations that can harm human health (for example deafness, people who are constantly listening to music via earphones plugged in, in some extreme cases it can cause fatal disorders). So this age is the age of smartphone but what i feel is the awareness about using the phones should be our primary concern.

The present generation are becoming lazy because of smartphones, In the last decade or so while travelling in bus or train, to kill the time ppl used to have a conversation with the fellow passengers, which will improve the approach of communication and sometimes knowledge gained from them... but as of present we just plugin our earphones in to the ears for loud music.. hence the human relationships are weaker now

- The greatest drawback of using smartphones is the adverse impact on people’s memory. Nowadays, people tend to forget things due to excessive use of Smartphones.

- Previously, people didn’t have any problem in remembering the telephone numbers and other tasks to do; however, it is not the same case now.

- The so called useful tools including social networking apps, fully functional web surfing, games and many others mindlessly occupy time of people. Instead of doing productive work, people keep on wasting their precious time.

- Let us talk in terms of money. A Smartphone can be bought under Rs 20000 as well as above Rs 40000. There is no doubt that the expensive ones have more features. But more than 80% of people don’t even know what the features are. They just buy to show off, and hence are nothing but dumb.

- Smartphones make people dependent or rather say addicted to it. The users remain at the mercy of the notifications. There is no dividing line between rational use and addiction, which results in stress and decreased productivity.

- Texting on Smartphones has deteriorated people’s English grammar and spellings. Even on formal papers they write either the SMS language or wrong spellings. This is another step towards being a dumb.

Earlier we have phones just to talk then start and text messages when needed only.Now phones became smartphones as they are filled with lots of applications.Depending the utility needs we are using smartphones.It does not make anyone dumb.Human beings themselves want sophisticated life like everything from where they are.So,smartphone is doing this in many aspects.Instead of going to friends home now we we do video calling that too with cheap price.It is helpful in providing security, banking, grocery, beauty,health,maps,social networking. Already we happily invited that into our lives but now its our turn to use it in healthy way.

According to me ,since everyone is adapted to technology everyone wants to be smarter.If there is available of bike no one tries to go by walk.In the same way if technology is increasing the people are tempted to use that.At the same time everyone should be smart enough where to use it.Depending on that you should not make yourself lazy.It is a device which makes you to think in a smart way and perform according to that.It does not tell you to become dumb.Use the smartness and at the same time make things safe i.e. ,have walk in the morning , yoga , talk with the people directly rather than using phones if available . Smart phones help in different ways.Use in the way where it helps and not in the way where it makes you lazy or dumb.

Smartphones are making people smarter or dumb, it is depend on its use. The most important advantage of smartphones is people can connect with their friends and relatives anytime anywhere. With the help of smartphones people can pay their electricity,telephones bills etc. when we go to a new place then our smartphones helps us as a map. We can also use smartphones as e-book reader and smartphones also provide help for our documents, presentation etc. Smartphones can be used as camera. Sometimes smartphones play an important role in the security also especially in case of girls. For example, when girl hire a taxi to go somewhere in night they can just click photo of number plate of taxi and send it to their siblings.

Smartphone is a boon which has taken birth from the evolution of technology.It is a bank of knowledge which if utilized properly can prove fruitful.With a wonderful storage capacity it can store various things starting from books,dictionaries and many more which was impossible with normal mobile phones.It has made people smart.With various features like navigation and maps people now dont need to go n ask others for a particular location but they themselves can find any locations they want.Acting as a mini computer it has ms office which people can use to make presentations instantly without the need of a laptop or a desktop.As the coin has two sides smartphones have some disadvantages too but they are overshadowed by the advantages that the smartphone possesses.Thus Smartphones are making smart people rather than dumb ones.

No doubt, Technology make things easier for us but Adverse effect of this is making people dumb. Of course, Smart[phones are making people dumb. Most of our daily time, we spend on our smartphones rather than doing something else. No doubt, It helps in various things like online shopping, get updated with our surroundings, but our youth just overuse it by having just continuously chatting and playing games.
