I appreciate your views on this topic but I personally feel , as being a computer science engineer even in codes we work to minimize time and space complexities so why not we work on this in real life and it can only be achieved by working in a smart way. Smart work leads to better and bigger results.

The smart work really the need of the hour,the things which can do by smart like in the organisation the task handle with simple forecasting method,previous trends,think future innovative which the work done with the efficiently the task time.Aganist the working hard is the process of which the working the fixed layout with time taken process with does not help the more production to the organisation.ex feeding water to the crown the the help of straw instead of depping to the water.Smart work really help to the work faster with efficient way.

According to me,both hard work and smart work are important.For example someone is having exam and he didn’t prepare well then its time to work smartly.He can clear his exam by searching the previous years question and he will get an idea that which kind of ques is generally asked in the exam.So he can cover all the important topics in a day.So he can finally clear the exam by working smartly.He has to clear an interview,so he should study hard for it.

According to me, smart work is more important than hard work. It is the only thing which can differentiate you from others. We should do smart work when we want to achieve our tasks in limited time with our hard work.There are situations where smart work is necessary to be successful instead of pushing so much efforts.As for example before exams we started preparing for the things having more weightage than studying the whole syllabus,we should plan out things to study and should have focus on that,in this way we can score more saving our time and investing on correct things.Thus smart work leads to success as we did smart work with our hardwork

I think hardwork matter more if you do hardwork in any area you will get success for sure, but in smart work people find short cuts for any work and sometimes get struck in situations from where they don't come out.
Example -Doing Hard work do not require smart work but smart work requires hard work to do things smartly.

Both hard work and smart work are the sides of one coin.Both are important.But if I have to choose,I will definately prefer smart work,because it is not necessary that hardwork always pays off but smartwork will pay off maximum time.Wherever mind is applicable, it will have a greater value than the physical work. Take an example of a labour,he also does hardwork,but is it fruitful .No,it's not.So,smart work is always better and prefferable over hardwork and it also saves time,under which some other work may also be done.

When you work hard , you come up with a finite amount of efficiency...it is then you start walking on a smarter path when you rectify your flaws. undoubtedly working smart is essential..but at the same time we must keep in mind that hard work has no alternative..you can only be more efficient by doing the work smartly

In school, we would have come across both hard workers and smart workers – hard workers would study the entire year, make notes and prepare diligently for examinations whereas smart workers would pay more attention to theories or concepts they are unsure of and focus more on these areas and this way, they would work on their weaknesses and ace their examinations.

Sometimes, we may see smart workers getting better grades than hard workers and this is because smart workers know how to prioritize their work and manage their time efficiently.

Well i think there exists a substitute for hard work that is smart work . Smart work can be more efficient than hard work . Suppose a guy is weight training the hard way 7 days a week he is going to overtrain himself and instead he is going to lose strength but if he trains 4 days a week the smart way he gives his body time to recuperate allowing him to improve his performance but sometimes smart way means taking shortcut which can be harmful for a total beginner

I would like to answer this question in a technical manner. Suppose we have to make a program to swap two numbers. We can do it in two ways.

When we write a program using a third variable as a temporary storage then it is a called as hard work. However, if we solve the same problem without using a third variable then is a called as smart work.

I think that smart work is more important because smart work means enjoying the work. if we enjoy the work then we dont feel stress and strain which keeps us far from mental disorders such as tensions. if we work smart then it becomes easier to finish and gives satisfaction. coming to hard work, working hard is only the harder then at the initial period itself nobody shows interests to work. so i feel that smart work is far better than hard work.

Hardwork & Smartwork are nearly same. The difference is way of approach.
Hardwork is a physical work & only focuses on finishing the work in large amount of time.But
smartwork is more logical thinking & focuses on doing job more efficiently in less time. So smartwork is more important than hardwork. Sometimes hardwork causes failure,but smartwork never failure.

no I do not agree because even people spending more time on mobile for a daily life but, it has also so many advantages:
1. news source: smartphone connect people to the world what is happening in the world with less amount time.
2. learning source: today smartphone make easier to learn without physical going in physical class which is less expensive. In simple word online study through various sources of smartphone.
3. banking issues: now a days online payment is more easiest way to pay. and if u want to transfer money one account to another account u can simply transfer without going your bank.

No, i don't agree with this term.
Yah there is lots of time spending on our smartphone in daily life.
But there is many more advantages using smartphone rather than we called it's making us dumb.
For example,now a day's we are transferring money one place to another place in few seconds.
Online examination,form apply,all the things are just complete in a minute second.
So there is many advantages are also there . So I don't think so that smartphone making us dumb.

I think it solely depends on one's usage or addiction. Whatever or Whichever thing is used in its limits is advantageous and if usage is beyond the limits then it is disastrous.

In my point of view, smartphones are making people dumb because as we see daily everyone start their day with phone and it became oxygen to everyone like no one can live without oxygen and no one can live without phone in their hands. Everyone addicted to the smartphones and some may use it in a good way and some may use it in a wrong way , as spending a lot of time with phone people became dumb such that they dont even know whats happening in their surroundings. And yeah smartphones are useful in gaining various knowledge, as coin has two sides using smartphones have two sides which are using it in a proper way and using it in a wrong way so it depends on individual how they use smartphone.

in my point of view it not so. It is in our hand how we utilize the source which is given to us. Scientific inventions are made to minimize our effort. It should not rule us. I think smartphone has advantages more than disadvantages...it's only depend on people how they use it ....if they use smartphone in a positive way it will give many advantages to them like a person become digitalized and he become smarter than other becoz smartphone can make our work easier we can save a lot of time...by utilizing it properly...or...if we use it in negative way it has many disadvantages like by using it continuously a person get addicted to smartphone and by using social medias... playing games and etc.. entertaining apps continuosly they become addicted to this and it will create a curiosity in a person to use this apps daily so that they waste there lot of time instead of utilizing it .

As there is no physical activity involved it surely makes a person dumb. As, smartphones itself suggests that a gadget or technology which assist or help our works.Smartphones saves our energy, helps to do work in an efficient manner.It saves a lot of time and keeps us updated with the things going around us and all over the world.At times we cannot think of our lives without smartphones it helps in keeping touch with others ,making call ,getting news and the information of things going all around the world.It is very obvious that smartphones are making our life easier.
It is a learning tool even for the professionals.Through this people can give their interviews,students can give online exams, learn about different technologies.Thus ,it is not correct to say that smartphones are actually making us dumb.

smartphone is both good and bad for youth depends upon the use of youth . if we use it to the extent of limit it will be harm for example if we use it a lot we cannot give time to our study, to our friends,to our family it will effect our mission our relations also

Are smartphones really making people dumb? This is an important sentence. I think that every coin has two faces heads and tails, likewise smartphone also has this two faces. Talking about the positive side there are so many benefits of smartphone like calling, access to the internet , creating jobs in the industry (take Android, IOS as an example), texting messages(take example of whatsapp,hike messanger). Now when we come to the other side of the coin, we recently have some smartphone accident like overcharging any smartphone battery would be dangerous, so we need to handle it with proper care, also some bad people can hack your device and can collect sensitive data (only if u have stored in it). Some smartphone can emit high radiations that can harm human health (for example deafness, people who are constantly listening to music via earphones plugged in, in some extreme cases it can cause fatal disorders). So this age is the age of smartphone but what i feel is the awareness about using the phones should be our primary concern.

Its really an awesome topic. Actually it is!! Now a days every one is using smartphone that avail every prospective facility of whatever we need. But on the other hand we the teens are using it for our time-pass, by using several apps like messenger whatsApp and so many social networking application that brings people away from their guardians . They even stop to share the necessary things with their guardians which is very important thing. All the time teens used to chat with the friends they even lost their presence of mind. Adding to it smartphones radiate some kind of unhealthy radiation that directly effect our minds. Using smartphones one can update themselves in order to be updated but on the other hand they are taking themselves away form the hell like life. Yeah every thing has advantages and disadvantages but using unnecessarily, leads to some kind of addiction.

- The greatest drawback of using smartphones is the adverse impact on people’s memory. Nowadays, people tend to forget things due to excessive use of Smartphones.

- Previously, people didn’t have any problem in remembering the telephone numbers and other tasks to do; however, it is not the same case now.

- The so called useful tools including social networking apps, fully functional web surfing, games and many others mindlessly occupy time of people. Instead of doing productive work, people keep on wasting their precious time.

- Let us talk in terms of money. A Smartphone can be bought under Rs 20000 as well as above Rs 40000. There is no doubt that the expensive ones have more features. But more than 80% of people don’t even know what the features are. They just buy to show off, and hence are nothing but dumb.

- Smartphones make people dependent or rather say addicted to it. The users remain at the mercy of the notifications. There is no dividing line between rational use and addiction, which results in stress and decreased productivity.

- Texting on Smartphones has deteriorated people’s English grammar and spellings. Even on formal papers they write either the SMS language or wrong spellings. This is another step towards being a dumb.

According to me ,since everyone is adapted to technology everyone wants to be smarter.If there is available of bike no one tries to go by walk.In the same way if technology is increasing the people are tempted to use that.At the same time everyone should be smart enough where to use it.Depending on that you should not make yourself lazy.It is a device which makes you to think in a smart way and perform according to that.It does not tell you to become dumb.Use the smartness and at the same time make things safe i.e. ,have walk in the morning , yoga , talk with the people directly rather than using phones if available . Smartphones are making people smarter or dumb, it is depend on its use. The most important advantage of smartphones is people can connect with their friends and relatives anytime anywhere. With the help of smartphones people can pay their electricity,telephones bills etc. when we go to a new place then our smartphones helps us as a map. We can also use smartphones as e-book reader and smartphones also provide help for our documents, presentation etc. Smartphones can be used as camera. Sometimes smartphones play an important role in the security also especially in case of girls. Smartphone is a boon which has taken birth from the evolution of technology.It is a bank of knowledge which if utilized properly can prove fruitful.With a wonderful storage capacity it can store various things starting from books,dictionaries and many more which was impossible with normal mobile phones.It has made people smart.With various features like navigation and maps people now dont need to go n ask others for a particular location but they themselves can find any locations they want.Acting as a mini computer it has ms office which people can use to make presentations instantly without the need of a laptop or a desktop.As the coin has two sides smartphones have some disadvantages too but they are overshadowed by the advantages that the smartphone possesses.Thus Smartphones are making smart people rather than dumb ones.

No doubt, Technology make things easier for us but Adverse effect of this is making people dumb. Of course, Smart[phones are making people dumb. Most of our daily time, we spend on our smartphones rather than doing something else.
