To calculate reminder on dividing the number by 3 Method:- first calculate the digit sum , then divide it by 3, the reminder in this case will be the required reminder example:- 1342568 let the number is as written above its digit sum = 29 = 11 = 2 so reminder will be 2: Example.
Take some others

digit sum of the number is 64 = 10 = 1
reminder is 1

similarly let the number is 54670329845
then digit sum = 53 = 8

A remainder is obtained when first digit sum is divisible by 3
that is our required solution
For eg: 34259677858
digit sum of the number is 64
Here remainder is 1 when it is divisible by 3

29=11 bcoz when we add 9+2 it comes 11.then we divide 11 by 3

the remainder solution is very useful. i understanding this solution.

the remainder is 2 when it is divisible by 3
so the answer is 2.

To find the remainder we can also do the single digit sum of the given number.
Let me explain what is single digit sum.I am explaining this because finding the total sum of the number is little bit uneasy.
