Area of 2 circles = 130*pi
pi*x^2 + pi*y^2 = 130*pi
x^2 + y^2 = 130 ----(1)

Sum of their radius = 14
x + y = 14 ----(2)

(x+y)^2 = x^2 + y^2 + 2xy
14^2 = 130 + 2xy
2xy = 66
xy = 33 ----(3)

From (2) and (3)

x*(14-x) = 33
x^2 -14x + 33 = 0
(x-11)(x-3) = 0
x = 11,3

Radii of 2 circles are 11cm and 3cm

=> r(r - 3) -11(r-3) = 0
r = 3 or r = 11
if r = 3 then 2nd will be = 11

then 14-r, must represent the radius of the other circle.

Therefore, the area of the first circle is πr^2,
and the area of the second circle is π(14-r)^2, and given that the sum of these areas is 130π cm^2

πr^2+ π(14-r)^2=130π
r^2+ (14-r)^2=130
2r^2-28r+66=0
r^2-14r+33=0

Substitute r2=14-r1 (from (1)) in (2),then
r1^2+(14-r1)^2=130

=> r1= 11 or 3
then r2= 3 or 11.
