Write given no with +ve denominator
5/-8=5*(-1)/-8*(-1)=-5/8 and
2/-3=2*(-1)/-3*(-1)=-2/3
Given Rational nos with +ve denominator are
-7/10, -5/8, -2/3
Now LCM of 10,8&3 is 120
so,
-7/10=(-7)*12/10*12=-84/120
-5/8=(-5)*15/8*15=-75/120
-2/3=(-2)*40/3*40=-80/120
compare the numerators we get,
-84

We need common denominators to check for the ascending order.

Similarly

2*(-1)/(-3)*(-1) = -2/3 = -2*40/3*40 = -80/-120
We get,
