We know that angle traced by hour hand in 12 hrs = 360°

From 4 to 2:45, there are 10.75 hours (10 hour 45 mins).

Angle traced by the hour hand in 10.75 hours = 10.75×360/12

The answer will be 322.5 degree because the in one cycle the clock rotates 360 degree and for each our there is an angle of 30 degree in each part.so according to that for each minute there will be the angle of 0.5 degree.so ,here is the mathematical expression of the result when clock shows again 4 o'clock then it will rotate 360 degree so at 2 0'clock it will rotate 360-60=300 degree.and for rest 45 min there will be additioonal 45*0.5=22.5 degree rotation.so the total degree rotation = 300+22.5=322.5 degree

hour hand moves through 2 to 3 which is 1/4th part of an hour
and hour hand again moves through 3 to 4 full hour

So 4:00 to 4:00 -->12hrs, Total hours are 10:45 hrs
