Solution

according to the given condition
[10*20*30]/[100*100] = [x*100*y]/[100*100]
so x*y = 60
and y = p*q
so x*p*q = 60
and possible set will be 3,4,5
so sum = 12

10% of 20% of 30 = x% of 100% of y
=> 10% of (20% of 30) = x% of (100% of y)
=> 10% of ((20/100)*30) = x% of ((100/100)*y)
=> 10% of 6 = x% of y
=> ((10/100)*6) = ((x/100)*y)
=> x*y = 60
=> y = 60/x
Now,y = p*q
=> 60/x = p*q [putting y = 60/x]
=> p*q*x = 60...(1)
Now since p,q,x are successive integers,
equation (1) holds if p=3,q=4 & x=5.
Hence,p+q+x will be (3+4+5)=12.

(10/100)*(20/100)*30=(x/100)*(100/100)*y
=>6000/10000=xy/100
=>xy=60=3*4*5
because y=p*q and p, q and x are successive intergers
so y=12 and p=3, q=4 and x=5
hence p+q+x=3+4+5=12
hence answer is option (3)

x % of 100 % of y= (x*y/100)
=>0.6=(x*y)/100
=>60=xy
but y=p*q
=>60=xpq
upon factorizing 60 we get
3*4*5=60
so 3+4+5=12
option 3

i.e 6000/10000=100xy/10000
i.e xy=60=3*4*5

So, simplifying the above equation,
60 = x*p*q
From the options, 12, 15 and 18 are the sum of successive numbers.
Given x,p and q are the successive integers.
So, 12 = 3+4+5; for 15 = 4+5+6 and for 18 = 7+8+9.
From the among three, 3*4*5 = 60
Hence x+p+q = 3+4+5 =12.
