Yesterday I took CTS test...if in all the 3 section that is quantz,logical,verbal I got 90% marks but in programming I executed 1 out of 7..... Will they consider my marks!!

We are excited to announce our new prize rules which are more rewarding and more inclusive!
We are also introducing a new monthly winner award for the Top Scorer of the month!
Effective from Jan 2019

WEEKLY WINNER Our weekly winner would be decided based on the following factors:

1) Top Scorer for the week in Today's puzzle and someone who has not already won a prize in previous weeks in the same month.
2) A particular week would be considered as part of a month if the Friday falls in the same month.
3) In case if a Top Scorer has already won the prize in past weeks, the second top scorer of that week would be the Weekly Winner and so on.
4) In case of a tie, M4Maths Team will decide the winner by taking other parameters into consideration (Time Taken to solve the puzzle etc)

Examples:
In week-1 of a Month, Ram's score is 92 and is the highest among all users. The Weekly Prize Winner is Ram
In week-2 of a Month, Ram's score is 94 and is the highest among all users, Rahim's score is 91 and is second highest. The Weekly Prize Winner is Rahim.
MONTHLY WINNER Our monthly winner would be decided based on the following factors: :

1) Monthly Winner would be decided by counting Daily Puzzle scores of all participants from the first day to the last day of the month.
2) In case of a tie, M4Maths Team will decide the winner by taking other parameters into consideration(Time Taken to solve the puzzle etc)
RULES FOR TODAY'S PUZZLERule1 The person with the quickest & the correct answer would be considered as a challenger of the Day.
Rule2 Irrespective of your login the countdown will start at 11:00:00 AM sharp.
Example :-
If you login to your account at 11:25:00 am & submit the answer at 11:29:00 am. Your total time to solve the puzzle would not be considered as 4 minutes rather it would be 29 minute.(Starts from 11:00:00 am.)

As per m4maths.com rules if user scored 96 points then he/she will get 500 gift mount from team but i get only 200 instead of 500. So may i know that why i will get 200 instead of 500. Why this happens against your rules.

Dear Admin,
I think that answer given today i.e for the puzzle dated 22/1/19 is not correct. When you pick six spoiled eggs ,it means one after the other.
Then the probability comes as
(29/100)*(28/99)*(27/98)*(26/97)*(25/96)*(24/95)=0.000398489194
Please check. This is due to when we pick first one it is 29/100
and for the next it becomes 28/99 like that.

Hello guys, yesterday I took the cognizant (CTS) exam for 2019 batch..I did very well in aptitude, reasoning, verbal...in automata we have to solve 7 questions in 20 mins... I solved only one (1) and another question half... Is there any chance??? To clear the test???

This refers to puzzle of 16 Jan. The sum said every day 25 rodents are killed. Hence on the first day also 25 rodents would have been killed. In your solution you have assumed that no rodents were killed on the 1st day which is not correct.Pl.refer to the solution earlier submitted by me.

Dear Admin,
The corrected solution for the day (15-1-19) Puzzle is again wrong.
If Lalu sold to Bhali then the selling price of Kallu becomes the cost price of Bhalu. So we have to consider the cost price of Bhalu as x*95/100 ,105y/100
Again he sold them. Then the selling prices are
x*(95/100)*(104/100),y*(105/100)*(96/100)
Sum of these =(x*95*104/10000)+(y*105*96/10000)=₹3800
This is the way of approach.
Please check once again and also refer the book for solution.

Sir kindly check the previous puzzle dated 15.01.2019 answer
the price of watch and sunglass will be 2966.66 and 744.44 respectively, after solving the equation.

so its answer will be Option 10 not Option 4 which you gave in Answer.
Kindly correct the answer.

Dear Admin,

You solved the Previous Puzzle dated 15.01.2019 whose equation
95x/100 + 105y/100=3600
i.e 95x + 105y=360000............(1)

104x/100 + 96y/100=3800
i.e 104x + 96y=380000............(2)

on solving eqation (1) & (2)
we get x=2966.66
y=744.44
so, its right answer is option 10
i.e None of these

Kindly correct the Answer and Result

Dear Admin
Please observe the solution for yesterday's(15-1-2019) puzzle.
I think you are mistaken. Lalu sold the watch and sunglasses to Bhalu.
Bhalu sold the again. It means s.p of Lalu is C.P of Bhalu. But you didn't answered like that. You have taken x,y as C.Ps for both Lalu and Bhalu. Which gives wrong result.
I think there is no answer.
Please check your solution and respond.
