6 Bangles each of 4cm in daimeter,what is ther minimum diameter of plate required so that each bangles are kept without overlapping(bangles touching each other)?Asked In Elitmus

diameter of each bangle is 4cm so area is 3.141*2^2=3.141*4
for 6bangles 3.141*24
so the diameter of plate is 2*sqrt(24)=9.8 approx
ans:9.8

First of all negative marking is calculated in every section separately.
If u make upto 25 % of ur attempted question wrong then there will no negative marking.
for. eg if u attempt 8 questions out of which 2 are wrong ..then no negative marking..
and after that limit 50% negative marking for every question..
ie if u make 5 questions wrong out of 8 then , 2 question are under permissible limit (ie 25% of 8) and for rest 3 wrong questions 50% negative marking will be done.

Quantity of chemical required to make mixture Rs. 150/liter= 3000/150= 20

Respected Admin: I would like to draw your kind attention in the issue that there is always a lag of 2 seconds when you click on the SUBMIT button and it says PLEASE WAIT while saving my answer and ultimately the answer is saved after 2 seconds each and every time I do...Today I answered in just 59 seconds to be honest but after saving my answer it shows I have submitted my answer in 1:01 Minute(s)...Well, that is unfair because then it will be almost impossible to score 100 in a week if it occurs regularly and this is not expected from a renowned competitive forum like m4maths.com...Your kind consideration anent the today's matter will be wholeheartedly accepted...I will be waiting for your reply like before...

Let he sells 'x' kgs at 15% profit....
and c.p of x kg =Rs. x......
Then s.p for 15% profits becomes 23x/20...
s.p for 20% becomes 6/5(50-x)...
s.p on whole of 50kg becomes 117/2...
on equating we get 30kg...

Assuming merchant sells x Kgs at 15% profit.
Profit of selling x Kgs at 15% + Profit of selling (50-x) Kgs at 20% = Profit of selling 50 kgs at 17%
x*115 + (50-x)120 = 117*50
Solving we get x= 30

6:3:2
cmpre the schemes to get ratio i.e ptr/100..ie.x(10/100)6=1(12/100)10
x=2..lyk dat do for next two schemes...
here i rs is taken bcz he said dat after cmpletion of each scheme he get the same intrest...so i have taken rs 1.
the ratio as x:1:y
if we simplify we get 6:3:2
