Dear Admin,
For 16th Nov puzzle you asked about the time gap between their meets. Let A and B meets at C with speeds 40km ,60km.A after 1 hr they meet at c nearer to A.
A has to reach B with a distance 60km which may take 3/2 hrs
In 3/2 hr car from B 3*60/2=90km.
It means 50km back . Now the distance between the cars is 50km
Which they cross further 1/2hr
So they met after 2hrs (3/2+1/2)
So the gap is 2-1 =1hr
Here I took as 40km,60km for calculation purpose. Replace 40,60 with 48 and 64 kms.
I think solution given by you might be wrong.

Dr.Dipin Singh   3 years ago
As per your speeds, they will meet first after 1 hr.
After 2 hrs, one car (A) has travelled distance of 120 kms ( 100 kms in first side and 20 kms in return). Other car (B) has travelled 80 kms and not completed first side. Second car (B) has to travel 20 kms on first side and then return to meet other car (A) .
Afterl 3 hrs, A has travelled 180 kms and B has travelled 120 kms when they meet 2nd time.
So time difference in two meetings = 2 hrs

Yes Dipin. Honestly I support your opinion. You should be awarded. The answer is 1.54m^2. Admin should think that no one has given answer as he expected. But once somebody told that we should accept Admin's solution.

You are exactly right Pargat. We can imagine it as a path. If the breadth is taken as in cms then the answers should be in decimal. Or the measurements should be changed. Kindly note the correction Admin.

Dear admin,

Please check the dimensions of playing ground mentioned in puzzle dated 19.10.2021.
Given dimensions of play ground are 17m x 140 cms. means 17m x 1.4 mtrs which may be possible in video games.
Also units of areas ( sq mtrs or sq cms) are not mentioned in options.

Answered puzzle considering typing mistake and taking dimensions as 17m x 14 m.

Earlier I answered option 6 (154 sq mtr) considering dimensions as 17mx14m .
Assuming that Admin will not repeat earlier mistakes again and again, I changed answer to option 10 ( none of the above) resulting in award of -3 marks. :)

Dear Admin,
I think your answer for yesterday's puzzle is wrong. The answer is like this
methods for arranging 1 boy at centre = 6
methods of arranging 2 girls at corner = 7*6 = 42
methods of arranging remaining 10 persons = 10!
so total methods = 42*6*10!=252*10!
So the option is 6
The same type of puzzle was given on 21th oct 2011. Please look at the solution given.
