With a certain amount a person can either buy 50 oranges or 40 mangoes. He retain 10% amount for taxi fare and buys 20 mangoes and of the balance he purchase oranges. How many oranges he can purchase ?

he can buy 20 oranges

person has 200 rs(lcm of 50,40)
so each mango price=5rs and each orange price=4rs
he gave 20rs which is 10% of 200rs
and with remaining 180rs he bought 20mango of cost 100rs(20*5)
then he has only 80rs wid this 80rs he can buy 20 orange(80/4)

He bought 20 mangoes.
without keeping money for taxi, he can buy additional 20 mangoes or 25 oranges.

For keeping 10% of total money, he will have to surrender amount equal to 20% of 20 mangoes or 25 oranges.He can use buy 80% of 25 oranges.

so he can buy 25*0.8 = 20 oranges.
