- solving the equation we get:
k^2 - 6k -18 =0
solving the value of k
we get k= (6+ undr root of 108)/12 and (6- undr root of 108)/12
multiplying these 2 roots..
we get:
-72/12= -6 - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(1)
- Simplifying the equation we get:
k^2 - 6k -18 =0
here sum of roots = -(-6)/1 =6... integer
Product of roots = -18/1=-18.. integer
so sum and multiplication of roots will give integer result. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(1)
- Here k = 3+- 3Root 3
So when u add two value of k, u get 6 as answer which is integer.
When u multiply 2 values of k,
u get -18 as answer. which is an integer.
(3+3root3)*(3-3root3)= 9-27 = -18
so multiplication or addition will give integer answer. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(3)
