so ABCDE, ranks are wrong and so are the ordering of pairs.
majeed has figured 2 ranks correctly .
these two should be consecutive, otherwise the other correctly ordered pair would result in a 3rd correct prediction.and the correct ranks should be at either ends. ie top or bottom ranks,otherwise the other correctly ordered pair would result in a 3rd correct prediction.
so either the DA_ _ _ or _ _ _CB is correct.
in top case we can have correct ordering of 2 pairs EC or CB that are displaced by 1 position but both of DACBE, DABEC violates the fact that sajeed is wrong.
in bottom case we have,EDACB and AEDCB . AEDCB is wrong as A can't be in position 1.
so EDACB is the correct answer

now sajeed had not predicted even a single rank corectly nor he had predicted correct ordering of any pair of consecutive teams,so
A-1,B-2,C-3 D-4 E-5
SO A can not come at 1st place,B can not come at 2nd place and so on
now acc. to majid D-1,A-2,E-3,C-4,B-5(these are the palace,such as d has 1st place)
so we can see that majeed had predicted ranking of two teams correctly and he had also predicted ordering of two pairs of consecutive teams.
so acc to sajid the place of A and C is 1 and 3
but acc to majid A and C is 2 and 4 consecutively
so first two
after pridicting two corectly,all sequence will be change,the new sequence is

in given question sajeed give prdiction A,B,C,D,E which is wrong positions or wrong pairs
on the other hand Majeed give prediction D,A,E,C,B which have two position as well as two pairs correct
So lets start,
Suppose, According to majeed prediction D,A,E,C,B
we can make 4 pairs i.e (D,A) (A,E) (E,C) (C,B)
now Select any pair for first position, so there are four conditions
1. suppose if (D,A) placed at first position then,
we have to change positions of all three
we have remaining E,C,B so there can made two pairs (E,C) and (C,B)
now we can not put (E,C) at second position because it leads to negotiating majeed prediction (i.e 4 positions are correct D,A,E,C)
So we should put (E,C) at the end.then
(D,A),B,(E,C)
now A,B make there pair so this arrangement is not correct.

2. now the second pair (A,E) should not placed at first position it leads to satisfy sajeed prediction(i.e a placed at its position).
