- let the dist travelled by slower car be==x
dist travelld by faster== x+120
time taken by cars to travel x and x+120 is the same
therfore x/50=(x+120)/60
solvin we get x=600
therfore dist travelld by faster==x+120=600+120=720. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(9) No(1)
- 600km ratio prop

- faster car is 120/60=2hrs faster than the other car.
their relative velocity is 50+60=110kmph
so faster car goes 110*2=220km
and as faster car is always 120km ahead
so total distance covered by faster car is 220+120=340km - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(8)
- Let the distance traveled by the first car be x km
then distance covered by the second car is x + 120km
x/50 = x+120 / 60
x= 600
so the distance between A & B is x + x + 120 = 1320 km

- 1080 km.......faster train moves 10 km more in 1hour
then 120km=1/10*120= 12hour.and train are in opposite directions then r. speed =50+40=90km/h
distance =s*t=90*12=1080km. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(11)
