all faces of a cube wd 8m edge are painted. now cube is cut into smaller cubes wd 2m edge. find, how many small cubes will have exactly one face coloured.

one face having 4*4 grid...so it wud haveonly 4 such smaller cubes...
now 6 faces=6*4=24.

now cubes at corners wil have two faces colored
so, 24-8=16 cubes
