there are two watches,one which runs correctly but the second one gains 1 hour every 5 hours.if both are set correctly at 12 noon,after howmany hours will both the watch show the same time??ans=60 hours

• For two clocks to coincide the diff in time should be even multiple of the L.C.M of their timings...
  1st clock after 5 hrs shows 5hrs
  2nd clock after 5 hrs shows 6hrs
  so L.C.M of 5 and 6=30
  1st even multiple=2
  so 30*2=60hrs

  for the both clocks to show same time again, 2nd clock should be 12hrs ahead
  time taken to be 1hr ahead=5hrs
  time taken to be 12hrs ahead=5*12=60hrs
