• Ans:10 teams, we can see that in 10 teams 1st team have to play with 9 other teams, 2nd team has to play with 8 other teams,3rd team has to play with 7 other teams, similarly upto last team it will occur, so the total is 9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1=45......

  by using the simple formula:-
  nc2=45
  (n*(n-1))/2=45
  n(n-1)=90

  since one team can play with other only one match and the winner team will play with other team in next match....so in last match(45th) there will be 2 teams;in 44th dere will b 4 teams and so on...so total no of teams will b 2^45

  n^2-10n+9n-90=0
  n(n-10)+9(n-10)=0

  so n-10=0
