- 1 product total cost = .75+4.04+.29 = $5.08
s.p. = $5.10
profit of selling of 1 product = $0.02
number of products to gain profit of $5600 = 5600/.02 = 280000
answer 280000)

- A can run 1000m in 294sec
B can run 1000m in 300sec
i.e. B can run 10m in 3sec
and A beat B by 6sec
therefore A can give head start of 6sec i.e 20m.

- cost price=0.75+4.04+0.29=5.08
selling price=5.10
profit=5600
ans=5600/(5.10-5.08)=280000 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)

- in this race, A will win by (5 min - 4 min 54 sec) = (300 sec - 294 sec) = 6 sec
B covers 1000 m in 5 min
=> B covers 1000 m in 300 sec
=> B covers 1000300=103m in 1 sec=> B covers 103×6=20 m in 6 sec
i.e., A can give B a start of 20 metre so that the race will end in a dead heat. - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)

- 20 m
if b takes 5 min to complete 1km distance
he covers 20m in 6 sec so a covers 1km before 6sec than b - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- b covers 1000m in 300 sec
a covers 980 m in 294 sec

- 20 m
(B runs 3 1/3 m per second, there are 6 seconds between a and b, therefore 6 x (3 1/3) = 20 m) - 5 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
