• let the side of a square is x
  area of square will be x*x
  now 2m is adding to both sides ,so area will become (x+4)(x+4)
  it gives x*x + 4x + 4x + 16
  now the area of path is x*x+8x+16=288
  which gives 4x=136
  perimter of square is 4*side
  so 136 is d answer
