numbers are 2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,4.how many 4digit numbers can be formed greater 3000 with help of these without any reapition?

• 51 is answer
  start with 3--- are 3*3*3=27 but in them 3333 and 3222 are not possible because we have 3 4's,2 2's, 2 3's are avilable.
  so start with 3=25
  start with 4---=3*3*3=27 all numbers are possible except 4222 because we have 3 4's,3 3's,2 2's for 3 places.
  so start with 4=26

  for next place there are again 3 digits i.e. 2, 3 & 4

  so maximum no that can be formed is 2X3X3X1 = 18.
