- answer is 28
because the original no is 82 i.e 8+2=10 and when the digits are reversed i.e 28
the difference is 82-28=54 so number decrease by 54 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(21) No(0)
- x+y=10.........(1)
10y+x-(10x+y)=54.........(2)
solving eqn. (1) & (2),we get
x=8;
y=2
so changed no. is (10*2+8)=28

- answer: 28
solve it by the options .
only option a 28 matches both conditions(2+8=10 & when the digits are reversed ,28 becomes 82,
82-28=54) - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
its 28 do it by the options too simple

- 28 is changed number...... 82-28=54..... ans is 28

- ans: 28
2+8=10;
if we reverse the no, it will become 82..
82-28=54.. the conditions satisfied - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- Answer 28
x+y = 10
Nd then 10x+y-54=10y+x
Then x=8,y=2
The 2 digit no formula= 10*y+x=28 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- 2+8=10
reverse of 28 is 82
82-28=54
ans is 28 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- Let the ones digit be y and tens digit be x then the original number is: 10*x+y and reverse number is 10*y+x.
According to the question: x+y=10
and (10*x+y)-(10*y+x)=54
Solving this two simultaneously we get x=8,y=2
hence ans is 28 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- 54+28(1st option)=82
8+2=10 ...ans
if 1st option work then try next option - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- 82-28=54 so the answer is 28

- number=10x+y
reversing =10y+x
a/q,
10x+y-10y-x=54
or, x-y=6
now solving x+y=10 and x-y=6 we get number=82..
so reversed number=28. . (a) - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- option (a)
the possible pair of two digit number with sum 10 is :(91),(82),(73),(64),(55),(46),(37),(28),(19)
only
82-54=28
