  _ means some carry.
  1.first see x+1=v.
  2.Then check all the possibility for RM*M=MR.
  if u did step 2 properly then u see, u are completed this problem 20 or 30%. because this time u know the value of X=4 so then v=5, M=8, p=9.
  3.solve A48*8 = 5F84. try all possibility and u found F=1;
  4.Solve 5+1+s = _1. then u found s=3.
  5.Solve A48*8=5184. then u found a=6 and by solving M+M+A=w (8+8+6=2). that means w=2.
  6.Solve 648*P=5832. Then u also found value of p=9.

• Hi,
  In this XM*M=MX ,
  First we find M and X values
  Take M=8
  x(8)*8=_4 (i.e the x values is 4 bcoz XM*M=MX) Then
  Now we know the X=4 & M=8
  Now replace the x and M values
  X+carry=V (When add two single digit no's that gives a carry '1' that number >4)
  4+1=V
  V=5;
  then replace 'v' value .
  (AXM*M=VFMX)
  A48*8=5F84
  try A value then multiply with 8 i.e 5_84 ,which is value of between 5 and 8
  A=6 648*8=5184 ,Now we get two more values A=8 and F=1.
  (AXM*L=XVSA)
  648*L=45S6 ,then find the S value with the help of 648 and L =7
  648*7=4536 ,S=3
  (AXM*P=VMSW)
  648*P=583W multiply 648*_=583_;
  648*9=5832 ,Now P=9 & W=2
  Now replace all values
  Ans is
