Alok & Bhanu play the following max min game. Given the following expression 19+X*(Y+Z) where X,Y,Z are variables representing single digits(0 to 9). Aloke would like to maxiize N while Bhanu would like to minimize it. Towards this end Aloke chooses a single digit number and Bhanu substitutes this for a variable of her choice (X,Y or Z). Aloke then chooses the next value and Bhanu, the variable to substitute the value. Finally Aloke proposes the value for the remaining variable, assuming both to paly their optimum strategies,The value of N at the end of the game would be?

- To maximize select the maximum value between 0-9 I.e. 9 accordingly ans wud be 162+19=181
- 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(3)
- alok will provide 9 8 7 respectively one by one
to reduce calculation bhanu takes z y x values above respectively to make evauation smaller.
19+7*(8+9) = 19+119 = 138 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
- i believe the equation should have been 19+x*(y-z)
so the answer would be 37
but according to the question here Alok (7,9,9) Bhanu (x,y)
so the answer accoding to 19+x*(y+z)=163 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(2)
