pony. If the average speed of the horse is 81 kmph, what s the average speed of the pony?

• Distance travelled by horse in 4 hrs = Distance travelled by pony in (4+2)hrs

  Then 6x = 4*81
  => x= 54 kmph

  for pony total distance =d and time=6
  distance is same as horse reach the pony after 4 hrs

• the average speed of horse in 4 hours is 81 i.e. total distance is (4*81)= 324km
  rabbit starts 2 hrs before horse can catch him. so he travels total (4+2)=6 hrs and also travels the same distance so,
  avg speed of rabbit is = 324/6=54
