- 25 is worst case and 3 is best case

- 2 is the best case and 3 is the worst case.
so, the answer is :- 3 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(4) No(0)
- 25.if we take the worst case of pulling out the first 24 to be of the same colour then the 25th must be of other colour

- 3 because when u pick up first socks it may be either red or blue, let consider the worst case u pick the second socks which is of different color to the first one.....in case of third one it resembles to either the first socks or second one

- answer is simply 3
if first time is getting red
second time is blue
then third time either blue or red
so,3 ways enough

- 3 is wrong answer....
assume worst case as:
let us assume that in all 24 take from drawer one is able to take all 24 are of same colour.
so,in 25th case it must be different colour,
so ans is 25 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(6)
- 3
Since they asked minimum no.of socks drawn 3 socks would be enough - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(1)
- 3
since we require two socks to wear from drawer if we select 3 definitely there is a pair of same colour - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- 25 isworst case

- c) 25. Because i know the answer :0
- 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(3)
- 25 is the answer because the right foot and the left foot difference will also matter here.
and yes 3 is the best case. but for a sure result answer is 25.
- 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
- answer is 48 because consider first 24 as red and the 25th as the frist of blue and they have also given atleasy 2 so we have to consider all the max possibilities so 48 (i.e) 24 from blue and 24 form red

- It is clear that taking zero, one, or two socks is not sufficient. However, if you take three socks, then either the first and second sock you take have the same color, or the third sock you take from the drawer has the same color as one of the previous two.
