if length,breadth,height of cube are decreased,decreased & increased by5%,5%,20% respectively then what will be the impact of surface area of cube?

• lenght ,breadth and height= side of cube..
  assume side of cube as 100.
  then
  100--->5% dec=95
  95--->5% dec =90.25
  90.25--->20% inc =108.33
  hence net effect =(108.33-100)=8.33 ans

• Surface=6x^2=2(lb+bh+lh)
  
  =2(0.95x*0.95x+0.95x*1.2x+0.95x*1.2x)
  
  =1.9(0.95x^2+1.2x^2+1.2x^2)
  
  = 1.9(3.35x^2)
  
  =6.365x^2
  
  % increase =6.365/6*100–100
  
  = 6.1% increase in surface area.
