so 1 day's both work= (x+15)/15x

means they will complete the work together in 15x/(x+15) days

2/5 unit work have to be completed by both
so,

2/5*(15x/(x+15))=4

x=30.

george does 3/5 unit work in 9 days.and george does 3*4/9*5=4/15 unit work in 4 days.hence total work done by george is 4/15+3/15=13/15, rest work 1-13/15=2/15 is done by paul in 4 days. so paul will take to finish the work alone in 4*15/2=30 days

let the work X then capacity of George is X/15
then capacity of Paul and George is X/4
so Paul capacity is( 60*X)/11
so Paul can finish X work in 60/11 days
