There are two types of AP..increasing and decreasing...if you will consider increasing AP then series will be 3, 8, 13,18,23,28,33
So x will be 33..but if you consider decreasing AP then series will be 28,23,18,13,8,3. So x will be 3. So from 1st statement we cannt conclude..2nd statement is that x should be prime..so 33 will be eliminated..so x will be 3 only...so i think both statements are required - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(8) No(7)
