- draw two circles asper the given data(form a triangle with sides 10,8,6)
s=(10+8+6)/2=12
area=√{12(12-10)(12-8)(12-6)}=24
Let the height of the triangle(which is half of the chord)=h
1/2 *10*h=24
=>h=4.8
hence length of the chord=2*4.8=9.6

- 9.6
x*x+y*y=8*8
(10-x)(10-x)+y*y=6*6
x=6.4 put this in first eques u will find the value of y which is half of the length of chord. - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(2)
- chord length = 2√r2 - d2
r is here 8
d is 6
there for chord length = 11.2 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(4)
- take area of rhombus formula (D1*D2)/2 = L*B => (10*x)/2 =(8*6) => 9.6 cm

- take triangle as a=6cm, b=8cm, c=10cm
area=sqart(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c))
where s=(a+b+c+)/2=12
area=sqart(12(12-6)(12-8)(12-10))=24
area=0.5*b*h=24
>:h=4.8
length of chord=2h=9.6 - 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
