The famous church in the city of Kumbakonam has a big clock tower and is said to be over 300 years old. Every Monday 10.00 A M the clock is set by Antony, doing service in the church. The Clock loses 6 minutes every hour. What will be the actual time when the faulty clock shows 3 P.M on Friday?

I am asking this question because no body has given unique correct answer.
Please don't give links of answer.
I need correct answer with full solution.

Highly confused.

Also what is the real meaning of "The Clock loses 6 mins every hour".
Means when actually 1 hr passes then faulty clock shows 54 min or
when actually 1 hr 6 min passes then faulty clock shows 1 hr.

• Let us start from Monday 10 am to friday 3.00 pm.....total hours=4 days 5 hrs.=4*24+5=101 hrs.
  so total time loses=101*6 minutes=606 minutes=606/60=10 hrs 10 minutes
  so actual time=friday 3.00 pm +10 hrs 10 minutes=staurday 1.10 am.

  The clock loses 6 minutes every hour. In 101 hours it will lose 101 x 6 =606 minutes. ie 10 hours 06 minutes.
  
  To find the actual time, calculate 10 hours 6 min backwards from Friday 3.00 PM which is 4 .54 AM
  
  Hence the actual time would be 4 .54 AM when clock shows 3.00 PM on Friday.

• WELL its clear that the total hours form Monday 10am to friday 3pm its 101hours.
  and each hour the clock looses 6 min (i.e 60 min in clock is 66min in actual).
  
  so the clock looses 101*6min = 606 min in total = 10hrs 6min.
  
  thus we will get the actual time by adding 10hrs 6min with 3pm(friday),
  which becomes 1:06am Saturday

  tuesday has 24 hours means 10am to 10am total 24 hours si,ilarly for wednesday and thursday
  24hrs and 24hrs respectively
  friday has 5 hours from 10am to 3pm
  so 24+24+24+5=101 hours
  min loses=101*6=606
  606=10hrs and 6min
  so go backward 10hrs 06min

• By losing it means 54 min for 1hr, now on every hour it is losing 6 mins so in 24 hours its losing 24*6,
  for 4 days it is 21*6*4=576
  now when it is actually 3pm the clock is 576+30 min = 606 min slow that is it is showing 5.06 am
  now for 3pm it has to go 10 hours more, however on every hour it loses 6 min so it will lose 10*6 mins more hence it has to go anothr 11hrs,
  Thus the answer is 5.06+11=16.06=4.06pm on saturday

  Now,21hr 20 mint of this clock=24 hr of correct clock
  64/3 hr of this clock=24 hr of correct clock
  101 hr of this clock =24*3/64*101=123 hr 42 mint of correct clock
  so totally it loses (123hr 42 mint-101hr)=22hr 42 mint
  so,now if we add this excess time we will get the actual time i.e. 1pm 42 mint of saturday

• If the clock is losing time, that means it is going slower than normal, i.e. it is going slower by 6 minutes every hour.
  That means every 1 hour it will only 54 minutes.
  So calculating the time between Monday 10 AM to Friday 3 PM we get 101 hours.
  Now the actual number of hours can be got in 2 steps:
  Step 1: Calculate how many total number of minutes happen between the two times that we are talking about - 101 * 60 minutes = 6060 minutes
  Step 2: Calculate how many times 54 minutes happen in 6060 minutes i.e. divide 6060 minutes in 54 minutes slots and that many hours should have passed i.e.
  6060/54 = 112.22 = 112 hours and 12 minutes should have passed
  i.e total extra = 112 hours 12 minutes minus 101 hours = 12 hours 12 minutes extra should have passed
  Thus the actual time is 3 PM Friday +12 hours 12 minutes = 3:12 AM Saturday
