- 5 Rs.
If initially with price(in Rs.) 'x' perkg, person gets 200/x kg. of wheat.
With reduction of 5% price =0.95x , he will get (200/x)+2 kg. of wheat
So 200/(0.95x)=(200/x)+2 or x=10/1.9
Reduced price=0.95*10/1.9=5 - 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)

- let us assume he will get 'x' kg for 200Rs initially. After 5% cost reduction, he is getting 'x+2' kgs for 200Rs. Cost of one kg initially is 200/x. After reduction it will be 0.95* (200/x). For 'x+2' kgs it is (x+2)*0.95*(200/x). from the eq. (x+2)*0.95*(200/x) = 200. find 'x' value as 38. then substitute x in reduced cost ..... it will be 5rs
