Alfred and Bernard run on the circular track of 600m. Speed of Alfred and Bernard are 30m/s and 20m/sec respectively. initially they are diametrically opposite to each other.
1) when will they meet for the first time if both move in the same direction?
2) If both of them move in opposite direction, when will they meet for the seceond time?

• 1) 30 sec.
  Running in same direction they have to cover the difference of 300m. with speed=30-20=10 m/s.
  So they will meet for the first time after 300/10=30 sec.
  
  2) 18 sec.
  Running in same direction first difference of 300m. will be covered in 300/(30+20)=6 sec. now again to meet second time they will cover the difference of 600m. in 600/(30+20)=12 sec
  So for the second time they will meet after 6+12=18 sec.
