If a man increase his speed at 12.5% , he arrived earlier at 5 minutes . what is the usual speed ?

Let the speed was 100 and now it is 112.5
Then the ratio of time is 112.5 : 100, i.e. 9 : 8. Then the difference of time is=(9-8)=1.
If 1 = 5/60=1/12, then 100= 100/12=25/3.
The usual speed was 25/3
