  For circumference=2*Pi*r, radius=r, so with increase in 50% or 3/2 times in circumference=(3/2)*2*Pi*r=3*Pi*r , New radius R=3r/2
  So % increase in area=100*(Pi*R^2 - Pi*r^2)/(Pi*r^2)=100*[(Pi*9*r^2/4) - (Pi*r^2)]/(Pi*r^2)=100*5/4=125
