  No there is no hint in this question.One of the toughest crypt. Solve it by unit digit method. For ex-Let P be 4 . Then we need to check for this combination (2*7,3*8,6*9,7*2,8*3,9*6) .But then P can be any unit digit.(0...9).So you have to check for all digits ieP={0...9). Now the catch here is when we take P=4, we have the above possibilities. so eg-d=2,M=7,P=4 now we have to again check for the rest values of L ie now L can be={1,3,5,6,8,9,0). Doing this for every combination ,you will get desired value at 9*6.It is easy if you are fast in checking.
