  I have made a small correction to your submission below
  it will be (6*28 + 7*169 + 8*4)
  =(168 + 1183 + 32)
  =1383

  6^3=216,7^3=343,8^3=512
  So,from 315 to 342,it will give 6.
  From 343 to 511, it will give 7 and
  From 512 to 515 , it will give 8.
  So,6*28(since,there are 28 numbers in between 315-342)=144,similarly 7*169=1183,8*4=32
  Answer : 144+1183+32=1359.
