A factory produces nuts and bolts.A machine in it produces only nuts while another produces only bolts. The machine producing only nuts produces 500 nuts/min and need to be cleared 15 min after producing of 3000 nuts. The machine producing only bolts produces 300 bolts/min and needs to be cleared for 15 min after production of 3000 bolts. So , it will take 6 mins to produce 3000 units.than 15 min break.
Means- 6mins*5=30 mins, 3000*5=15,000
Rest- 15mins*4=60 mins.total 90 mins
1. bolts:-15,000 to be produced
300/min and takes 15 min rest after producing 3000 units.
So , it will take 10 mins to produce 3000 units.than 15 min break.
Means- 10mins*5=50 mins, 3000*5=15,000
Rest- 15mins*4=60 mins.total 110 mins.

Time taken to prduce 500 nuts=1 min
So,tim etaken to produce 3000 nuts=6 min
also ,it is cleared for 15 min.So total time taken to produce 3000 nuts=6+15=21 min
Similarly ,time taken to produce 3000 bolts=10+15=25 mins
so min time taken to produce 15,000 pairs of nuts and bolts=time taken to produce 15,000 bolts(since bolts take more time)=25*5=125
But the last clearing time is omitted as bolts are already produced.So required min time is 125-25=100 - 7 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(1)
