- sorry for the incorrect answer, the solution will be = 30 * 11 = 330
33*8 = 264, 330-264 = 66/3 = 22 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- Average age of 11 players at present= x(let), then
Sum of their ages= 11x ⇔ Sum of their ages 3 years back= 11x - 33
Sum of current age of 3 outgoing players= 3×33= 99
Sum of their current age after deducting ages of 3 outgoing players= 11x-99
Let, sum of ages of 3 newcomers = N
Now, new sum = 11x - 99 + N
As per question,
11x - 33 = 11x - 99 + N
⇒ N = 66
∴ Average of 3 newcomers = N/3 = 66/3 = 22 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- 22, (99-33)/3
- 7 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(4)
- Combined age of 11 players 3 years ago was = 33*11= 363
After 3 years, 8 players who were there 3 years ago too, now there age is = 33 + 3= 36
So, the combined age of those 8 players = 36 * 8=288
Now, according to question, after 3 years average age of team hasn't changed which means, the combined age for 11 players = 363
And we have to find age for those 3 players, so (363-288)/3 = 75/3 = 25. - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
