Total salaries of 17 teachers=17x45000=Rs. 765000
Let sum of the salaries of the 3 teachers who left be Rs. x, then
New average of 14 teachers = (765000 - x)/14 = (45000-2500)
=> 765000 - x = 14*42500
=> x = 765000 - 595000 =Rs. 170000
