- Let's assume C gets X rs. So B would get (1/4)X rs and A would get 2/3 of B i.e. 2/3 of 1/4 which is (2/3)*(1/4) = (1/6)X. Add them all and take X common. X (1 + 1/4 + 1/6) = 1360. Therefore X = 960 and B's share is (1/4)X i.e. 960/4 = 240.

- A:B:C = 2:3:12, B's share = 3/17 * 1360 = 240 Rs.

- A=(2/3)B ; B=(1/4)C ~ C=4B
by problem statement,
A+B+C=1360
Putting value of A&C in term B
We get
B=249 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(4)
- a=2/3 b ,b=1/4 c ..then
a=2/3 b & c=4b so
2/3b+b+4b=1360
17b=1360*3 so b=240 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- b+4b+2/3 b=1360;b=240
