Read Solution (Total 11)
-
- 10 answered correctly.
x+y=26
8x-5y=0
by solving this we get answer x=10, y=16. - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(11) No(0)
- Let x be the number of he answered right
so,(26-x) be the number of questions answered wrong.
from the given data 8x+(26-x)(-5)=0
By solving we get x=10. - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- it says that there are total 26 questions.
say 10x-16y=0 because total questions are categorised into 10 correct and 16 incorrect then x/y=8/5 satisfies. so 10 answers are correct - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- if correct ans questions are 10 than 10*8=80
than wrong ans questions are 16than 16*5=80
so corret ans-wrong ans=0. - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- if 10 he answered correctly then he get 10*8=80
then 16 he answered wrongly ,16*8=80 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- suppose ans be 10 then 10*8=80
then for wrng ans=26-10=16*-5=-80
finally 80-80=0
so ans is 10 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- +8 for 10 ques =(10×8)=+80
-5 for 16 ques =(16×5)=-80
26ques divided as 10(correct)+16(wrong)
So, ans is 10 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- Let number of right answer be x
8x-5(26-x) =0 as total questions are 26
=>x=10 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- Answer is 10 as it is mentioned that 26 questions totally so 16*5=80 and correct answer given are 10*8 =80 there fore overall score is 0.so Answer is 10
- 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- X+Y=26
8X-5Y=0
13X=26*5
X=10
Y=16
ANSWER 10 - 5 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- let x are correct and (26-x) questions are wrong
8*x+ (-5)*(26-x) = 0
on solving we get
x = 10 - 4 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
