In how many ways coin of 1 rupee and 2 rupee is arranged to get a value of 100 rupee? (Example for 5 rupee we can arrange it in 3 ways {(1,1,1,1,1) (1,1,1,2)(1,2,2)}
Read Solution (Total 6)
-
- this can be represented as
x + 2*y = 100
we can see that it has 51 different pairs from x = 0 to x = 100. each with difference of 2 so 51 pairs. - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(8) No(7)
- Let X be the number of 1 rupee and Y be the number of 2 rupees coin
X+Y= 100
Take x = 100, Y=0
Likewise,Y=1, X=98
It will go till Y=50, X=0
Therefore there are 51 ways - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(8) No(1)
- ({1,1,1,....1}100 1's)+({1,1,1...1,2}98 1's+.....({2,2,.....}0 1's
I.e series is 0+2+4+6+8.......100
From a.p
TN=a +(n-1)d
100=0+(n-1)2
n= 51 and.

- 2 rupz 1rupee
0 100--------->1 way
1 98----------->2 way
2 96------------>3 way
(like wise until 50-->2 rupz and 0--- >1 rupee)
total number of ways are 0 to 50 i.e 51.
