  Let the sides of a rectangle be x & y cm, then
  Diagonal² = x² + y²
  289 = x² + y² ---(i)
  Also, Perimeter = 2(x+y) = 46 => (x+y) = 23 ---(ii)
  We know, (x+y)² = x² + y² + 2xy
  => 23² = 289 + 2xy
  529 = 289 + 2xy
  2xy = 240
  xy = 120
  Therefore, area of a rectangle is 120 cm. sq.
