Q. A boy gets some rupees from his mother and spends them on 5 stores. He spends one rupee more than half of the money. How much money he had at the time of entering the shop.

• (x+2)/(2^n)=2
  where n=no. of shops
  so we get ,(x+2)/(2^5)=2
  x=62
  so 62 is answer

  now at first stores he invest half of 62 i.e 31 and +1 more i.e.,32
  Now he has 30 ruppes.
  Now again at 2nd stores he invest half of 30 and +1 i.e.,16
