a person having some flowers ,n when that person moves in river the flower got tripal...n person put equal no of flowers in each temple..n at the end no flower is left with him...then how many flowers intially person carried...
n how many flowers he put in ach temple...

• let he has x flowers...after moving from 1st river he has 3x flowers.let he put y flowers in 1st temple
  remaining flowers =3x-y
  again in 2nd river flowers=3(3x-y)
  again in 2nd temple he put y flowers
  remaining flowers=9x-4y
  in 3rd river flowers=27x-12y
  after putting in temple he has 27x-13y=0
  27x=13y
  x/y=13/27
  thus the no. of flowers is 13 initially and in each temple 27 flowers are given

• let he has x flower with him and he took y flower at each temple and there are n temple and the formula for this is
  x=2^n -1
  y=2^n
  there are 3 temple(as given in problem)
  so n=3
  x=2^3 -1=7
  y=2^3=8
  so initially a person has 7 flower when person moves in river,it got doubal,so become 14
  then he take 8 flower to temple,because value of y is 8
  he remains with 6 flower
  
  then goes to 2nd temple,it become double 12
  took in temple 8,so remains 4
  then goes to 3rd temple
  become double 8
  took in temple 8,so remains 0
