- Assuming we are talking practially,
The Earth is a globe. North Pole is the at the topmost part of the planet.
So, when he moved away from the North Pole and travelled 2000 miles, he actually travelled longitudinally towards the South Pole.
Then he travelled West( according to us and not him) for 2000 miles
Then he travelled North (according to us again) for 2000 miles.
This will take him back to the North Pole.
This is because the topmost part of the sphere is spherical in shape.
So, the curve takes him back to the North Pole - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(10) No(2)
- 2,000 miles from North pole, and he is in North-West

- North 2000 miles far
Step-by-step explanation:
he started from a point then move ahead 2000 miles in south then turned to west 2000 miles
2000+2000=4000
now the place the person is opposite to that point so it is
4000-2000
