The avg age of ram and his two children is 17 year's and the avg age of ram's wife and the same children is 16. if the age of ram is 33 .. the age of wife is ?

  If the Age of Ram=x, wife=y & Combined age of two children=z
  Given (x+z)/3=17 or x+z=51 ---(i) and
  (y+z)/3=16 or y+z=48 ---(ii)

  (33+x1+x2)/3=17
  solving...
  x1+x2=18
  again from the question...
  (w+x1+x2)/3=16.
  put the value of x1+x2.
  (w+18)/3=16
  solving.....
  w=30 ans
