there was a dhoopstick factory running in a village. The factory doesn’t create all dhoopstick’s of same length but all the dhoopstick’s have a special feature that every dhoopstick will burn and blow out complete exactly by 1hour time. Find the minimum time that can be measured using 3 dhoopsticks.

• 7.5 mins.... if we can burn it only from one side then answer will be 1 hour ...and if we can burn it from both side then answer will be 7.5 mins...start burning 1st dhoopstick from both side...and other two from one side only....as the first stick blow out in 30 mins...other 2 still have 30 min's length .....now burn remaining part of 2nd stick from both side...and 3rd from single side only....2 nd will take 15 min to blow out...& at the same time the 3rd still have 15 min's length remained....now burn remaining part of 3rd from both side to measure 7.5 mins
