Rix can collect 45 pieces in 1 min.. and Rax take 1 and half minute for same,, what is time require d to collect 300 pieces when both working together??

  Rix can collect 45 pieces in 60 seconds and Rax can collect the same in 90 seconds which means that Rax can collect 30 pieces in 60 seconds. SO Rix and Rax can together collect 75 pieces (45 + 30) collectively in 60 seconds (1 min).
  SO to collect 300 pieces together, they take (1/75)*300 min i.e; 4 min.

  since in 1 min they both collect number of pieces = 45+30 = 75
  So, they will collect 300 pieces in 300/75 = 4
