In june a baseball team that played 60 games had won 30% of its game played. After a phenomenal winning streak this team raised its average to 50% .How many games must the team have won in a row to attain this average?

• total games won by the team = 18
  so as the team wins continuous matches and raises winning % to 50
  therefore, ((18+x)/(60+x))*100 = 50
  i.e. (18+x)/(60+x) = 1/2
  which gives us the value of x = 24....
  so , team has to play 24 more games to attain avg. of 50 %
